Prayer to St. Joseph

O Good St. Joseph, I ask you to intercede for me with Jesus, to protect you and care for me and my loved ones in our daily life and work, just as you did for the Holy Family.

Help me to live a simple life of service, to cherish the importance of being rich in faith over being financially wealthy.

Guide me to do the very best I can for my family and friends, but also to realize that I am responsible for sharing God's blessings and favors to me with others as well.

St. Joseph, role model of honesty, charity and perseverance, I pray for all workers, for the unemployed and the under-employed, that they will always labor in safety and recieve a fair day's wage for a fair day's work.

Through your example and the intercession of Our Loving Savior, Jesus Christ, I pray that every person will experience the dignity of labor and true justice in the workplace.  Amen.

Novena Prayer to St. Joseph the Worker

Pray for 9 days, especially when having trouble completing an important project or assignment.

O God, Creator of all things, You have entristed to women and men the responsibility over all Your creation.

Grant, we beseech You, that by the example and protection of good and faithful St. Joseph, we may perform the work You expect of us and attain to the reward that You promise.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen

Jesus, Mary, Joseph, I love Thee, save souls.

Prayer to our Guardian Angel

O most faithful companion, appointed by our Heavenly Father to be my guardian, I thank you for your kindness, caring and love, and for the benefits you have obtained for me.

O holy Angel, watch over me while I sleep.  Comfort me when I am sad.  Avert dangers that threaten me, and warn me of those to come.  Turn me away from sin, and inspire me to do good.  Encourage me to penance when I fall, and reconcile me to God.

Do not leave me, heavenly guide.  Comfort me in adversity, humble me in success, defend me in danger, and assist me in temptations, lest at any time I fall beneath them.

Offer up in the sight of the Divine Majesty my prayers and petitions, and all my charitable works, and help me perserve in grace until I enter into everlasting life.  Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.  Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.  May God rebuke him, we humply pray.

And you, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God banish into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who roam through the world seeing the ruin of souls.  Amen.

Prayer to St. Jude

O holy St. Jude, great in grace, rich in miracles, faithful intercessor of all who invoke your patronage in time of need, I come to you, seeking your special aid before the throne of Almighty God.  Help me in my present and urgent petition.

Unfailing Prayer to St. Anthony of Padua

O holy St. Anthony, gentlest of saints, your love for God and charity toward all God's creatures made you worthy, when on earth, to posess miraculous powers.

Miracles followed your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or need.

Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to grant also my request.  (Here mention your petition.)

The answer to my prayer may require a miracle; even so, you are the Saint of Miracles!

O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was always full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Holy Infant Jesus, who loved to rest in your arms, and the gratitude of my heart will always be yours.  Amen.

Prayer to Padre Pio

O Glorious Saint Pio, patron of those who are in need of healing, I call upon you and seek your help.

Please intercede for all those who are in need of spiritual, emotional or physical healing.

Obtain for them comfort during their sufferings, strength when they feel weary, hope when they feel discouraged, and joy when they are down-hearted.

Help them know the peace of Jesus and the certainty of His victory in their suffering, through Christ Our Lord.  Amen.

Agonizing Heart of Jesus, have mercy on the sick and dying.

Sacred thirst of Jesus, save them.

Peace Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood ad to understand; to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we recieve; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.  Amen.

Prayer to St. Therese, the Little Flower

St. Therese, the Little Flower, please pick for me a rose from the heavenly garden of our Divine Savior, and send it to me as a message of love.

Since you promised to spend your heaven doing good on earth, please look favorably upon my petitions.  Speedily recommend them to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and beg Him to grant my requests.
